Christmas images

The thing about Christmas is that it's full of images. You have the Christmas tree, for example. It could be artificial or natural. A tree cut down from somewhere, hauled over to a yard where it can be sold, and then eventually bought and transported over to someone's house, where it can sit in someone's living room for at least a few weeks.

Or a Christmas tree can be artificial. No smell of bark or pine needles here, but at least no need to worry about termites either, or other possibly nasty creepy crawlies amidst the branches. Might have been manufactured locally, or maybe in some distant land. If in a foreign country, then it probably traveled by ship so that it could be sold off in some shopping mall to someone looking to add a little bit of Christmas cheer at home.

Artificial or natural, I think I'd go for the artificial one. Something about felling a tree just so it can stand in someone's living room through December makes me a bit sad.
